May 22-25, 2017

Liam and the Elementary Band, under the
direction of Mr. Hughes,  performed a
wonderful concert for us! See pics

Happy Birthday, Mr. Bergmann!

Thank you to Mrs. Knoernschild, Finn's grandma,
for being a Mystery Reader. She read When
The Wind Changed
by Ruth Park and helped edit
word processed stories. See pics.

A closed eye greeting in crew. See pics.

Daphne and Henry demonstrate a greeting in the fishbowl.

After watching a short video called "Lessons
form an ant," Angela and Nadia discussed how
they can learn from ants to apply to their own
lives. The Natural World is one of our EL
Design Principles. See pics.

Owen, Liam,  Jacoby, Tristan and Levi play Rock, Paper,
Scissors, and not the regular one. Once someone loses,
s/he goes on to cheer on the opponent until there is only
one winner. It's quite a fun and loud initiative! See pics.

As part of our EL Design Principle, The Natural
World, we went on a nature scavenger hunt with
our K-4 buddies. Levi and Geoffrey are here with
a K-4 buddy. See pics.

Finn and Auguste found a way to make our
Himalayan bowl resonate better for
Mindfulness. See pic.
