The Orchestra students performed in three concerts and a
rehearsal in less 24 hours, including The Orchestra Festival

great job Tyndall, Lauryn, Maya, Julia, Zhi, Noah, Cole and
Parth!

We enjoyed listening and watching our orchestra students
at the Atwater concert!

On Pi Day, we learned how to mea-

we checked it by measuring.  Kaiden

We also worked on creating story
maps for the beginning, each event,
a problem, resolution and ending of
our realistic fiction stories.

We started to practice for the Forward Exam.  Most students practiced ELA (English Language Arts) Session 1 and 2.
Some are working on math.  Vets will also practice science and social studies.  I'll put the link on my blog so you can see the practice or so your child can practice more.

We also enjoyed a powerful First Stage play titled "The First
Snow."  If you have an opportunity to see it, I would recommend it. It's part of their Wisconsin series. Thank you to Mrs. Kaster and Mrs. Wiseman for chaperoning our trip!

Mrs. Ognar, a guest teacher and on the committee to create table decorations for the SEED event, asked our Crew if they would write thank you notes to SEED for the fund raising event at Discovery World last night.  Of course, we agreed!

Parth, Finn and Maya use an EL
protocol called Concentric Circles.
They are writing what they know about
the different parts of tree trunk and
making maple syrup. Click here for more pics.

Rose, Aiko, Julia and Bennett add
information into the next EL Con-
centric Circle after learning more
information.  This activity prepares them
for our upcoming Riveredge field trip.
