Blog #27

March 7-9, 2016

Julia gives Jesse a compliment and his progress report.

Congratulations to Parth for passing an XtraMath level!

Please click on any bold captions for more pics!

     We had a short week!

Jesse shares his comic quote about
empathy. Our Crew also watched
a short video book called
In Your Shoes.

Rose leads us in "Who's the boss?"

Finn and Bennett show us their char-
acter during the First Stage workshop
for "The Snow." Josh was the guest
teacher for the workshop. Before the
workshop, students watched a short
preview of "The Snow" to infer what
might be happening. They also listen-
ed to part of the summary and
sketched what they visualized in their
minds.

Teddy reads a Dr. Seuss book while
his buddy and Liam listen.  Our
crews also worked on some fun Dr.
Seuss coloring sheets.
In Writing Workshop, students are creating inner and outer characteristics for a realistic fiction story.

Mary Jane and Paul play a decimal
game in math. Ms. Sakai's math crew
continued work on decimals while
Mrs. Malloy's crew continued to
work on decimals and computation

Zhi, Finn, Cole, Noah and Matthew
work on thank you notes for the
engineers.

Thank you for donating Box Tops! Our Crew earned the popsicle and extra recess reward!

Go Noodle!

Eleanor leads us in Mindfulness.

Lauryn leads us in Mindfulness
with Ms. Janet.

Thank you for reading our blog!
