Jacoby adds fruit peels to the compost. We leanred a lot from Mr. Liberatore, the compost steward, and from researching what should go into a compost. Mrs. Malloy's and our crew are collecting snack scraps and some other people have also given us their scraps to add to the compost. See pics.

After the All School Finale, students started to revise their Jettoy car's appearance by changing the form and adding designs while the function remains the same. See pics.

Charlotte, Zoah and Angela did a wonderful job representing our crew at the AWIM Regional Competition on Saturday. They created this poster, practiced with their vehicle and competed for speed and distance.Thank you to all of the families that supported them, to the Johnson Control engineers for judging, to Ted Knight for organizing, Katelin Watson for photographing and writing an article and my colleagues at Lake Bluff and Atwater, plus teachers from Kluge Elementary for helping. tested Jettoy car in the hallway, researched biographies in Social Studies with Mrs. Malloy and in reading workshop, reviewed and started to assess in math
