A Shout out to our Battle of the Books
teams. Angela and Gauri V. are on The
Ridicuous Readers. 



Gauri S., Levi and Evan are on The Reading
Rubies. All BOB participants read many
books and competed in four battles. 


Angela and Masha are on The Ridiculous Readers.
Way to go, BOB, teams!





Thank you to Victor for bringing our crew a
treat. He won all of these cupcakes at a
Milestones Family Fun Night at the Cake Walk. 












Auguste, Cleo, Finn and Xyella work
collaboratively to make the fastest
licorice ball while competing with

Ms. Sakai's Cross-age Crew. All Cross-age crews created
flags and will share them at the next All School Crew.

Isla asked Cassidy to help teach a greeting
to our crew. 

Owen D., Owen M., Cassidy and Angela
worked collaboratively on a poem before

work together on "If the World were a
Village of 100", how many people would
be from Africa, Asia, North America,
Central and South America, Europe and
Oceania? for our Design Principle:

Eliza gives Zoah her progress report and a
compliment. We worked on eye contact,
a specific compliment about
character and using manners. See pics. 




Solitude and Reflection is ongoing all year.
Students reflected on their continuum and
second trimester goals. They also created
third trimester goals. See pics

























Goeffrey leads us in  Mindfulness with the
Himalayan chimes. 


Our one day to make snow people last week. 


Zoah and Masha work on the final copy of their Invasive
Species postcard. We also brainstormed for places to
distribute our postcards. See pics. 


J.P., Maria, Cleo and Henry T. are enjoying hot chocolate.

Hazel and Charlotte play"odd or even." We
are also learning about fractions and multi-
plication strategies. See pics.






















Leo, Maria and Petra work together on the

Other activities:

Students heard Jazzz Age Josephine by Jonah Winter, our read aloud is Where the Mountain Meets the Moon by Grace Lin (Auguste's recommendation), Scholastic News about Georger Springer from the Houston Astros and he has a stutter and Peggy Whitson, the person who has spent more time in space than any other American, orchestra lunch rehearsals
