Petra earned a XtraMath certificate!
Way to go!

Auguste earned a XtraMath certificate!
Great work!

Cleo and Petra wrote a Dining Around the
World Announcement and read it on
the announcements.

Jacoby, Eliza, Angela and Aiko play four on the couch.

The number greeting. See pics.

Daphne gives Petra a specific compliment with
eye contact, a smile and her progress report.
Petra returns with a "thank you." See pics.

Tristan and Levi find a tabletop partner and share ideas
during crew. See pics.

The Juli Wood Quartet entertained us for an enjoyable
ACE Ensemble.

On International Women's Day, students watched the Google
slideshow Doodle featuring 13 female pioneers who paved
the way. They are from a range of professions, backgrounds
and countries. They also read a short child friendly paragraph
and shared it with the crew.  This also ties in with our
case study and learning abut people.  See pics.

Angela, Masha and Levi stand near their castles that they
created in art class with Mrs. Hayes. They are a part of
our Medieval Times unit. Please pick up your child's
castle or your child can bring it home. They are in the
the hallway below the main office. See pics.

Owen and Rowan lead the math crew in a
2X12 array which also represents area.

Working in clock partners, Levi and Owen grapple to
figure out rectangles that have a perimeter of 24, then
calculate their area. See pics.

Henry and Finn complete formal testing on their JetToy
vehicle using different sized nozzles and a weight. See pics.

Cleo, Angela and Nadia write about patterns that they observed
in their testing. They also completed a team evaluation form.
See pics.

Masha and her buddy create a dinosaur from
recycled materials. Thank you families for
sending in so many recyclables! See
many of Mrs. Thoreson's and my pics

Masha leads us in Mindfulness. See pics.
