Our Crew continued to work on kindness this week as we were still working on our Crew and individual goals.  Crew members started to lead the greeting and activity.

Students reviewed parts of speech and wrote cinquains. They also created Mother's Day poems and cards. They also learned the difference among "to, too, and two" and read nonfiction articles.

Tristan, Jaire and Olivia review geomety
with tic-tac toe games.  Ms. Sakai's crew
also took an assessment and started
fractions. Mrs. Malloy's math crew
reviewed and assessed, plus they
finished the Forward testing.  Seepics.

In Social Studies, students are learning about regions of WI and creating maps.

Notes for Parents:

Thank you so much for a wonderful teacher appreciation week!  I loved Wednesday grazing day and the thoughtful notes from the crew!  I definitely feel appreciated!

1.  Thursday bags, reading logs fact packet or Xtramath 3 times due by Monday.

2.  With the cold and flu season, we are on our last boxes of tissues.  I'll bring some in and if you have any to spare at home, we'd appreciate it!

3.  Thank you to Aiko's family for volunteering to help weed and take care of our garden plot over the summer!  We will plant soon!  If you would also like to help with this, please let me know.  You will also be able to pick and eat any veggies that are ready in the summer!
