October 24-27, 2016

Aiko and Cleo talk with a visiting French student during a
Crew meeting. Seventeen high school studensts and two
teachers from France joined us during Crew. We did a
High Five greeting in Frnech and English. Members of
our Crew used an EL Fishbowl Protocol to teach the
greeting.  We greeted elbow partners.
Other Crew members demonstrated  the
EL Protocol Back to Back, Front to Front before our
crews tried it together. This gave us an opportunity
to learn more about each other. It was a fantastic time!

The visitors returned later in the morning.
Nadia read one version of Stone Soup to a French high
school student. Students also worked on a Stone Soup
rhyming poem together. We enjoyed our time together.
