Congratulations to Bennett, Maya, Tyndall, Julia, Nadia,
Taylor and Ashley for earning no late slips the entire year!

For our last Crew meeting, we wrote a
word on a Jenga Block that describes
what crew means to each of us. Expeca-
tations: build a structure as high as we
can, keep fingers from touching any
other block, crew members can go in
any order and if it knocked over, we start
again. Matthew and Nadia are adding
their blocks.

Notes for Parents: 


1.  Thursday bags due by Monday.


2.  Wednesday, June 8th-we are walking to the Shorewood Public Library to learn about the summer reading program.  Some crew members received letters about library cards.  Please return by Monday, June 6th so we can send them over before our visit.


3.  Wednesday, June 8th-If your child received 0 or no late slips for third trimester, s/he received a letter in the Thurs. bag. Mrs. Malloy and I will provide two pieces of pizza each. S/he may bring extra food, a drink and dessert if s/he would like. Please remember about the food and drink rules at school. After eating, every will go outside for recess. 


3.  Thursday, June 9th-we are going to Atwater Beach from 1:00 pm-3:15 pm.  I will have a half personal day that afternoon because I'll be attending Miya's 6th grade recognition ceremony.  I will have a guest teacher plus Mrs. Malloy's crew are also going to the beach.  I'd love to take some extra parents. If you are interested, please let me know. (If it rains, the crew will watch a movie.) Renae Aldana, Amy Kalkbrenner and Patrick Schroeder are joining us so far-thank you! Thank you to Carrie Talley for bringing popsicles to the beach!


4.  Thursday, June 9th-June Fair-Here is the Sign-up Genius for the many volunteer opportunities for that night if you would like to help.  There is something for everyone. :)

Hope the crew is enjoying the long weekend!  I am grateful for our work time on Friday to work on progress reports and meet with teachers.  My parents are visiting this weekend to see Miya in her dance recital.  Have a wonderful weekend!
